I Am Me!

     Hello all!
My name is Jayden Kirby.  I am currently a freshman at West Texas A&M University.  I  am involved in the Collegiate FFA program on campus, and I am an active member of the Delta Zeta Sorority.  I am the oldest of two children in my family.  My brother is 9 years younger than I am.  He tends to keep things interesting in my life, and he is my best friend.
I consider myself an expert in livestock.  I have grown up around cattle, sheep, pigs and other animals as well.  I have an extreme love with animals.  My expertise goes well with my hobby.  In my free time, I love to spend time at stock shows and in our barn with m brother.  We bond together then and our best memories are when we are working with animals.  Stock shows teach kids responsibility.  I love teaching kids the importance of taking care of animals.
Knowing my passion for animals, my favorite classes tend to be agriculture related classes.  Being an Agriculture major, I am always in an agriculture class.  I love expanding my knowledge in the industry and I can't wait learn more as the years come.
One problem that I personally feel very passionate about would be abortion.  Growing up, I was taught that life starts at conception.  I believe that aborting a child is like killing a baby.  I would hope that if I were in the situation of having a child out of wedlock then I would resort to having the baby and giving it up for adoption so that a family can have and love a child that they were incapable of having themselves.  I have always had a dying love for babies and children and I hate to hear that people have abortions.
One thing that I wish I could know more about would definitely be mechanics and cars.  I wish that I knew how to change my own oil, change my tire, and a lot more about the mechanics of cars.  I believe that knowing these skills would allow me to save money over time and allow myself to possess a skill that not everyone has.  Knowing more about cars would allow me to help others who are stranded on the side of the road due to a break down.

  1. What a pretty blog layout! And I always wanted to know how to fix my own car, too. I think a person could make a lot of money opening a women-only car repair shop.
