It's Show Time!

Over my high school career, I found that I have a love for agrictulture.  I wasn't able to stock show my whole life, but I was given the opportunity to show animals my junior and senior year.  I have a love for animals and agriculture as a whole.  I noticed that children who stock show learn the keys to success in life.

When owning livestock and show animals, is safety a concern?
What can childen learn from working with show animals?
How much does it cost to show?
Does stock showing affect the outcome of a child to an adult?
Can the skills learned through showing animalss translate to other areas in life?
How much time and effort is put into owning show animals?

Stock shows are very important for those who love agriculture.  It allows children to understand how animals work and how agriculture is used in the World.  People who care about stock shows tend to have a love for agriculture and animals.  I believe that stock shows affect the World.   Children raise animals that eventually end up as food to feed the people all across the Nations.  Without Livestock Shows, the beef and pork industries would not have near as much meat available.
I am researching the importance of stock shows because I want to find out how it affects the success of children in order to help readers understand the importance of animals and agriculture.

I Am Me!

     Hello all!
My name is Jayden Kirby.  I am currently a freshman at West Texas A&M University.  I  am involved in the Collegiate FFA program on campus, and I am an active member of the Delta Zeta Sorority.  I am the oldest of two children in my family.  My brother is 9 years younger than I am.  He tends to keep things interesting in my life, and he is my best friend.
I consider myself an expert in livestock.  I have grown up around cattle, sheep, pigs and other animals as well.  I have an extreme love with animals.  My expertise goes well with my hobby.  In my free time, I love to spend time at stock shows and in our barn with m brother.  We bond together then and our best memories are when we are working with animals.  Stock shows teach kids responsibility.  I love teaching kids the importance of taking care of animals.
Knowing my passion for animals, my favorite classes tend to be agriculture related classes.  Being an Agriculture major, I am always in an agriculture class.  I love expanding my knowledge in the industry and I can't wait learn more as the years come.
One problem that I personally feel very passionate about would be abortion.  Growing up, I was taught that life starts at conception.  I believe that aborting a child is like killing a baby.  I would hope that if I were in the situation of having a child out of wedlock then I would resort to having the baby and giving it up for adoption so that a family can have and love a child that they were incapable of having themselves.  I have always had a dying love for babies and children and I hate to hear that people have abortions.
One thing that I wish I could know more about would definitely be mechanics and cars.  I wish that I knew how to change my own oil, change my tire, and a lot more about the mechanics of cars.  I believe that knowing these skills would allow me to save money over time and allow myself to possess a skill that not everyone has.  Knowing more about cars would allow me to help others who are stranded on the side of the road due to a break down.
